So, the citizens of Cedar Grove have done the right thing with the vote to dissolve the city. Unfortunately, the battle isn't over, as there is a minority who will challenge the vote in court. trying desperately and in vain to force their desire on the majority.
What should take and happen in 30 days will probably take closer to 90 days as the attorneys draft and implement the process. Of course, with the court challenges, it will take longer.
To the citizens who voted to dissolve, you did the right thing. Now, if the rest of the incorporated areas in the county would follow suit.
