I was driving down the road last week, when I say a sign for Steve George for Superintendent of our school system.
I'm not sure this quy should be elected. His slogan is "Because We're Not Mayberry Anymore". Well, Panama City has been my home for 40 years, and I can tell you that we were not Mayberry then, and we certainly are not Mayberry now.
If Steven George thinks we are, then he is living in the twilight zone. In fact, I wish I could find Mayberry. I'd move there.
